Why become a member?

Membership includes invitations and admission to the monthly breakfast seminar series and reduced member rates to other DVASE events. By association with NCSEA (National Council of Structural Engineering Associations), all members receive a year subscription to Structure Magazine. Best of all it is a great opportunity to meet other professionals in the structural field and keep up to date with the latest news on codes, design criteria, and professional licensing.

Firm Membership with Sponsorship: ($1800)

Firm memberships are limited to companies that practice structural engineering or have structural engineering departments. Member firms will be listed on the SEAoP website and recognized on signage at all breakfast seminars. Attach membership forms for up to three (3) structural engineering practitioners with active professional registration (see Firm Affiliate below for additional members). In addition, the Member firm will receive a full hole sponsorship with 4 golfers for the annual golf outing.

Firm Membership: ($900)

Standard Firm membership as above without golf sponsorship. Additional Donation to Support PA Statute of Repose Amicus Brief: ($200 suggested) SEAoP, along with other professional organizations, is funding legal fees to file an amicus brief regarding proposed changes to the PA Statute of Repose. These changes could affect SE’s liability in certain cases in the state of PA.

Firm Affiliate: ($180)

Additional individual structural practitioners with a member firm.

Structural Engineer Practitioner: ($225)

Individual structural engineer who is not with a member firm.

Public Owner Practitioner: ($150)

An employee of federal, state, local, or utility agency.

Associate Member: ($150)

Individual who is not yet a P.E., but has received a bachelor’s degree in structural, civil or architectural engineering.

Retired Member: ($125)

Retired structural engineers.

Academic Member: ($90)

Full-time faculty teaching in a structural engineering-related degree program at an accredited college/university.

Student Member: ($30)

Full-time student enrolled in a structural engineering-related degree program at an accredited college/university.

Affiliate Member: ($295)

Does not qualify in any of the categories listed above.
